For your information, it seems that the standard ubuntu gnubg package is
suffering from the cube bug that we fixed recently.

Details:

First, thank you all for making this program.

Not sure if I am missing something about Backgammon, but on game 5 of this
match, it showed that taking the cube was highly suggested, but it is
impossible to win.

0.9.0, I have attached a picture of the analsys w/build info. I installed it
from Ubuntu's Add/Remove programs.

In that case it is probably a known bug that we have fixed in the main line
cvs. Please report the problem at the appropriate debian and/or ubuntu bug
channels. I'll forward the problem to the mailing list, which I believe the
debian maintainer is reading.
