I have successfully downloaded the three-chequer hypergammon database
from the link below.
The link at http://gnubg.org/index.php?startpos=10 "One-sided race
database reaches the midpoint" is now updated.
Perhaps someone could modify the manual page
http://www.gnu.org/software/gnubg/manual/gnubg.html#Obtaining-bearoff-da
tabases to include the download address.

Hi Ian, Jim, Max, and Rick,
I just tried accessing Jim's Demon databases and had no
problem getting through at
ftp://ftp.demon.nl/pub/Demon/games/gnubg/databases
If you point your FTP client directly at ftp.demon.nl it will
redirect to dl.xs4all.nl, but otherwise everything is the same. I tried
downloading a few of the smaller databases just to be sure, and they
were fine. Perhaps there was some sort of temporary problem that was
denying you access.
