I have admitted knowing that a product exists in the Apple App Store that I did not put there that happens to be in part GPL'ed code. The transgression is on the part of the person who puts the product in there. I haven't violated the GPL, nor am I bound by the App Store license since I don't produce software on that platform. My only concern from the GPL side of things is that the author made the product source code available upon request, which they gladly did. How did I know about PocketBG being GNUBG? Because I read it on BGO previously! At worst Apple can remove the offending product. It is not my job to police the Apple App store. That is Apple's job. -- Michael Petch CApp::Sysware Consulting Ltd.
