This warning isn't catastrophic, but if you wish to get rid of this message issue this command from a command prompt: sudo dpkg-reconfigure gnubg When prompted select "yes" to build the bearoff database. When you run gnugb again that warning should disappear. > (gnubg:8845): Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library This is interesting. From the command can you run this command and send the result of these 2 commands in your reply: locale uname -a As for this, this isn't good: > *** buffer overflow detected ***: gnubg terminated > ======= Backtrace: ========= > /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(__fortify_fail+0x45)[0xc628d5] > /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(+0xe66d7)[0xc616d7] > /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(+0xe5d35)[0xc60d35] > /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(_IO_default_xsputn+0x91)[0xbe6f91] > /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(_IO_vfprintf+0x7fc)[0xbbb92c] > /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(__vsprintf_chk+0xc9)[0xc60e09] > /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(__sprintf_chk+0x2f)[0xc60d1f] > gnubg(CommandSetEvalDeterministic+0xcb)[0x80de8eb] Can you email a copy of your gnubgautorc file (This has your current settings in it) directly to [email protected] .
