I think there were bugs that were fixed since then that caused it to crash when built with hardening flags. There are tons of bug reports in Ubuntu about this. Just a few days ago, I uploaded a new build of a much more recent snapshot to Debian, built with the hardening flags, and it works fine, so I'm fairly sure that the problem is fixed in current snapshots. Hopefully, Ubuntu will import that version from Debian for the upcoming release. In the meantime, you could import the source package from Debian, or just build a current snapshot from source. -- Russ Allbery ([email protected]) <http://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/> _______________________________________________ Bug-gnubg mailing list [email protected] https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-gnubg
