I recommend that you just use one of the normal settings. I find World Class is fast enough on my computer. It’s a far better player than almost anybody. It has 2-ply search, which means that it looks at your opponent’s possible responses to your moves, and your next roll after that. Any errors that come up later in the game have only a very small effect on what is the best move now, because there is little chance that the sequence of rolls will even happen.
