I’ve retested on windows: GNU Backgammon 1.06.002-mingw 32-Bit 20180802 This is the output I get.
makehyper -c 2 -f hyper2.bd Unknown keyword `makehyper'. -- Ian From: Bug-gnubg <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Louis Zulli Sent: 27 June 2022 22:05 Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: Hyper gammon Hypergammon is supported. See Philippe's recent reply. I can confirm that the info he offered is correct for Ubuntu. I just used makehyper -c 2 -f hyper2.bd<http://hyper2.bd> to generate the database for two-checker hypergammon. Generation took 52 seconds. Alas, generation of the three-checker database will take a lot longer. After I moved the two-checker database file to /var/lib/gnubg/, the option to play two-checker hypergammon became available.
