I cannot remember that I asked that question. Unless the question you state
is rhetorical as no article of backgammon has ever been peer-reviewed. But
that is wrong - lot's of articles on backgammon have been peer reviewed.

All articles by Tesauro among others. Hans Berliner's articles. M Boro's
race article, Art Benjamin/A Ross articles to mention a few.

You should always question the reliability of whatever you read
(especially these days).
It is therefore important to evaluate the trustworthiness of any source.

However - some things are for certain:
The earth is not flat whatever the flat earthers say!
The development of vaccines is one of the greatest achievements in the
history of science!
The moonlanding was not fake.
Evolution is a fact!
... and so on ...

I don't demand anything more from Tilemachos (nor you). If what he writes
makes sense, and I see no flaws, he might be right. Even probably right.
