It's certainly on my list of things to do. I was planning to do it with diffutils. But if I recall, you said there was some minor issue with diffutils and that dissuaded me from just switching (right now I've been stuck with a big patch for Emacs). Perhaps you can refresh my memory about the diffutils issue?
