=================== BUG #4829: LATEST MODIFICATIONS ================== http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=4829&group_id=99
Changes by: Frdric Praca <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: jeu 28.08.2003 22:40 (Europe/Paris) ------------------ Additional Follow-up Comments ---------------------------- First, make_services crashed because of an old .GNUstepAppList in GNUstep/Library/Services of the user home. The format changed and it was impossible to call deserializePropertyListFromData to retrieve oldMap without a core dump. The problem with gdomap was solved recently by a patch for closing file descriptors. The whole report can be closed. =================== BUG #4829: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT =================== Soumis par: fpraca Projet: GNUstep Signal le: lun 18.08.2003 22:30 Category: Gui/AppKit Severity: 5 - Major Bug Group: Bug Resolution: None Assigned to: None Status: Open Summary: make_services causes a core dump on FreeBSD 4.8 Original Submission: Under FreeBSD 4.8, with the cvs version of core, make_services crashes with a core dump (signal 11). In fact, every application using GUI seem to crash the same way (I tested Affiche.app, GNUMail.app, ImageViewer.app). Rebuilding the whole core and reinstalling it (after erasing the /usr/local/GNUstep directory) does'nt solve the problem. Additionnaly, gdomap uses a lot of CPU (allmost 90%). However, applications without gui using DO seem to work. Thanks for investigating.
