I tried to reproduce this behaviour and on the first try did get it even
from GSTest. After a drag from the colour panel or when using the NSForm
test the cursor changed and stayed that way. But when I retried only a
bit later, the problem was gone and did not occur again. Now the pointer
is always turned back to the original form when leaving a cursor
rectangle. Sorry, no idea why it is now correct, nor on how to help you.
