The behaviour I get from combo boxes is a bit different. They are displayed
correctly, but don't seem to interact with the user. In reality they interact
correctly but wont display the changed data.
This could be caused by the cairo backend not handling non retained windows
correctly. This would also explain, why dragging a control in Gorm shows the
wrong image.
Most likely it is just some sort of flushing that is missing here, but
where????
