Details:
as seen in the attached screenshot, windows has troubles drawing correctly
tabs, which get white at the edges. Also drawn wrongly are check box buttons
and not seen here the "thumb" of a scrollbar is also white. I guess the three
problems are related, maybe with alpha channel problems?
the "color schemes" application of SystemPreferences also gets a white
contour while it shouldn't.
