That looks like the bug which we fixed on 2008-01-09. The fix
is still there in trunk. ;-)
Which version of gnustep-make are you using ? Are you sure
it's the latest one from trunk ?
If so, can you please send me your config.make and the output of
make -p | grep LN_S_RECURSIVE
