Just for the record, I'm "running" GNUstep (the latest 'unstable' as of May 21) on an older Blade 100 (UltraSPARC IIe) with Solaris 10 5/08, using GCC 4.0.2 (Blastwave) and ffcall from sources (enable-shared). For some reason, gdnc and gpbs return '1' when started, but do run anyway. However, gdomap claims that neither is running when asked via the -L option. WRT whether ffcall or ffi work on BSD -- as for FreeBSD, they both do (last time I checked), but I would recommend ffcall, since it seems to perform a bit faster. -- Chris _______________________________________________ Bug-gnustep mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-gnustep
