Follow-up Comment #23, bug #23039 (project gnustep):
Oops ... it seems that libffi had been removed from the system I was testing
on, and I failed to spot the warnings that base was actually using ffcall when
I configured it to use libffi, so when i thought I was testing with the new
fixes for libffi, I was actually testing the ffcall implementation again ...
no wonder the behavior was the same.
