Hi Giuseppe and all, Unpacked icecat-3.0.4-g1-i386.tar.bz2(*), started it up, it asked me if I wanted to install the gnash plugin. I said yes. That seemed to succeed. Then I got a popup from gnash saying "environment variables are incorrect, reboot browser to fix". Ok, so I closed the browser and restarted it. Same popup about environment variables.
Gnash does show up in the list of installed extensions. But when I go to, say, http://www.amazon.com/Ten-New-Songs-Leonard-Cohen/dp/B00005Q45W it says "to view this content download the flash player", so I doubt it's actually recognizing anything. Thanks, karl (*) Unlike previous releases, it doesn't unpack into a directory ending with "-i386". I think it's better to do that. -- http://gnuzilla.gnu.org
