Why is Google approved by the GNUzilla project? I didn't know about Searx, and it seems to be pretty suitable for being one of Icecat's default search engines. My LibreJS addon gets crazy with 'Complain' messages when I enter ddg, forcing me to use the html version. I'll definitely give it a try.
