Felix, see if you can test Twemoji Mozilla in place of Noto Color Emoji. The latest Twemoji Mozilla is available here: https://github.com/mozilla/twemoji-colr/releases
Since EmojiOne changed their license to a non-free one for EmojiOne 3.0, then Mozilla recently moved to use the Twemoji Mozilla font.
