Follow-up Comment #16, bug #58736 (project groff): Did anyone replicate my results from comment #11?
...'Cause I no longer can. For some reason, now when I run that comment's test case, I'm getting different (and worse) results from what I reported back in August. And I get these same (worse) results even if I manually apply commit ab55f50a's e.tmac change to my 1.22.4 installation, so it's not some subsequent change confounding things. (There has been only one subsequent change to tmac/e.tmac <http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/groff.git/tree/tmac/e.tmac> itself, and it changed only comments.) In any case, it's pretty clear commit ab55f50a should be reverted, as it breaks basic (non-footnoted) two-column output -- even if I can't quite agree with my past self on exactly what the broken output is. I still need to test Bjarni's patch from comment #12. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?58736> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
