Follow-up Comment #19, bug #40967 (project groff):
> Probably doesn't make any practical difference for this long-resolved bug,
but the Category was recently changed to "Macro me", which seems a less than
accurate cateogorization of the original bug report, which touched 51
documentation files, only 3 of them related to -me. (Arguably, this ticket
should have been 51 separate ones, since it compiled 51 individual patches.)
Well, maybe not 51--at most, a bit less than the number of Item Groups we have
in Savannah.
In 2017, around comment #9 or comment #10, the scope of this ticket seems to
have narrowed to the `me` package, because the submitter regarded the rest as
no longer applicable. Perhaps they were early victims of my documentation
revision efforts.
In case someone was wondering why I went on this bug-classifying rampage, I
want to gather statistics for the preparation of groff 1.23.0 release notes,
as well as general intelligence on where our tickets seem to cluster.
I expect to create a `RELNOTES` file at the top of our source tree before too
long which can be stitched together with NEWS to create a release announcement
email for 1.23.0-rc2.
