That matches my hazy recollection. I remember from wordsmithing "NEWS" file entries for the forthcoming _groff_ 1.24.0 that PDF hyperlink support in the _man_ and _mdoc_ packages will be new as of when we release it, but I had no recollection of the URLs being mishandled under 1.23.0--merely that they weren't "hyper". I would think they're not "hyper" using `-Tdvi` either, since no one has added a feature to _grodvi_(1) in probably about 20 years, so whatever extension to TeX DVI was created to enable hyperlinking, _grodvi_ probably does not yet support it. Tim, can you clarify what your expectations were, and how "groff -man -Tpdf" failed to meet them? Attaching a busted PDF produced by the _groff_ in Ubuntu 24.04 is also fine. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?67169> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
