Downgraded two warnings to Notice, since PDF produced will be fine.
Reintroduced -W flag to makefiles so gropdf will exit 2 if warning emitted.
Without -W warnings ar non-fatal.

Reinstate using -W flag when building pdfs. Baby was thrown
out with the bathwater by me.

if a warning is produced during build.
