Subject: e.tmac: "point size" is not a synonym for "type size"

  "Point size" (size of a point (an unit of measurement)) depends on the
measurement system.

  So different sizes of a point exist, like

1) big point

2) Didot point

3) printer's point (American/English point).

  See item "Point (typography)" in the Wikipedia.
