A square root like
.EQ (1)
sqrt { 1 - x over K }
.EN
does not look as nice as it could. First, the expression inside the root sign
is larger than the root sign.
Second, the "top" of the square root comes too close to the expression
vertically.
Thirdly, the lines of the square root sign are much thicker than the line in x
over K.
