thanks for the feedback and agreeing that the proposed patch to you also looks
like an unquestionable improvement.
1. Regarding the Vim modeline: Strange that my NeoVim 0.11.5 does not detect
the latin1 file encoding with the default fileencodings settings. Something I
might look into at some point, since it is an annoyance that my NeoVim
converts the files to UTF-8. But given this is a problem to my setup I agree
it should not find its way upstream.
2. I'm not at all familiar with emacs, but do trust your judgement.
Yes, I was also quite surprised by how broken the LT.se examples looked.
Hopefully someone with more knowledge about Swedish letter layout will feel
inspired to fix what might still be broken.
