Stage 1.5 must be within 1024 cylinders if you use Stage 1.5. Stage
2 must be within 1024 cylinders if you don't use Stage 1.5. But those
are NOT due to using BIOS code in real-mode, but due to CHS mode. If
we support LBA mode in Stage 1 as well, those restrictions will
disappear.
Perhaps we should have Stage 1 for CHS mode and Stage 1 for LBA mode
because it's difficult to support both the modes in one Stage 1. And,
the installer should automatically determine which Stage 1 should be
used.
