Hi,
I've been trying to netboot OpenBSD for a few months now, and GRUB is the
only product I've found that will do the trick. Not even OBSD itself has a
method for netbooting i386 architectures.
However, will only netboot obsd when you install Grub on a floppy or hard
disk boot block. This is not unreasonable because this is exactly what it
was designed for.
What I'm after is a second stage loader that can boot obsd from a PXE
bootrom. I've got PXE all up and running, and have managed to use 'bpbatch'
for linux etc, but it won't boot obsd. Doesn't even work trying to boot a
obsd floppy image because the obsd boot loader locks looking for floppy
drives.
Is there any way Grub could achieve the results I'm after?
