It's VERY hard to fit usable 2.2.x kernel in zImage and impossible for 2.4.x
(talks about bloat :-(( ) so I think it's Ok. zImage exist at all since it's
not possible to boot bzImage on some systems and when this question was raized
@ lkml few users who were unable to load bzImage with LiLo was able to do so
with GRUB so IMO we can declare zImage obsoleted.
