Hello,
a few days ago i installed the grub version from the web page (not cvs) on a floppy
disk and it worked fine.
However, yesterday I installed the cvs version on a floppy disk and it does NOT work
anymore.
I used the following commands:
dd if=stage1 of=/dev/fd0 bs=512 count=1
dd if=stage2 of=/dev/fd0 bs=512 seek=1
when the system starts up, there is this message - i think it says "GRUB loading
stage2" or something similar - then the dots and when the dots are all there the
system halts ... :-?
Any ideas?
