Each menu item in your /boot/grub/menu.lst is given a number (starting with 0). The first entry will be 0, the second will be 1, etc. Just put "default <number>" at the top of menu.lst and you can pick which OS will boot by default. sjd10 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: > please could you tell me as a newbie to linux how to edit grub so that it boots to >windows by default rather than linux > > thanx steve > > > _______________________________________________ > Bug-grub mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub _______________________________________________ Bug-grub mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub
