Follow-up Comment #3, bug #14758 (project grub):
I have been chasing this problem for a day on my Grub CD, after upgrading
from 768MB to 1.5GB RAM.
I have tried versions 0.95 up to 0.97-r2 built on Gentoo, and am convinced it
is related to the RAM increase.. my Grub floppy fallback with the same
menu.lst works with no problem.
For the time being I have no plans on pulling the box apart to prove the
point..
