Follow-up Comment #8, bug #864 (project grub):
It seems that for example ext2 supports software raid devices and support for
that was missing in original patch. I added missing support to
grub-0.97cvs-2-romfs.diff.
Also I noted comment on wiki page that new features wont be merged to grub
legacy, I'll probably have to test grub2 at some point.
