Hello! As I understand how the distribution channels, and those of us who are building their own, using the Linux from Scratch procedures, they collect Grub-Legacy from the same place as I did, ftp://alpha.gnu.org and the grub folder inside the gnu one.
As for the patches, they come from the same place as your distribution did. There should be a place for source code for the Grub arrangement that you use.
