Follow-up Comment #5, bug #39527 (project grub): I just tried and with the trunk version it works ok.
However, after i did the test i restored the original situation with /dev/sda1 and /dev/sdb1 in raid1 on /dev/md0. After this i did a grub2-install /dev/sda, just to be sure. This was the output: # grub2-install /dev/sda /usr/sbin/grub2-probe: warning: Couldn't find physical volume `(null)'. Some modules may be missing from core image.. /usr/sbin/grub2-probe: warning: Couldn't find physical volume `(null)'. Some modules may be missing from core image.. Installation finished. No error reported. Booting after that was fine, and after the reboot the same command did not give the warning messages anymore. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?39527> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Bug-grub mailing list Bug-grub@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub
