Agree!

And currently ratposion and windowmaker are hardcoded,
how about make sessions configurable?
Like:
    (define %default-sessions
      `(("windowmaker" . #~(execl #$windowmaker "/bin/wmaker"))
        ("ratposion" . #~(execl #$ratposion "/bin/ratposion"))))

    (define* (slim-service #:key (sessions %default-sessions)
    ...
