Actually, I mean "grammatically and stylistically". Also on * http://lilypond.org/web/download/getting-started.html, "(double click the "GNU LilyPond" or "Cygwin" icon)" AIUI there is no GNU LilyPond icon (was there in the past?), and if someone is getting started, then they will not have renamed the cygwin icon to Lilypond yet. cywgin -> Cygwin Also I'm wondering whether there should be more detailed instructions for getting started on Windows. A friendly introduction, pitched at the ordinary musician who might be a complete command-line, non-GUI newbie. The recent help messages on the mailing list made me consider that Lilypond does sometimes scare such people away, when they'd actually be OK if they took some time to climb the learning curve. I realise that we have to draw the line somewhere with the hand-holding, but I think the (Windows users do this) bits on "Getting started" may be slightly too terse. I would be happy to write such a document, but I'm not sure yet how it would integrate with the rest of the "Getting started" instructions. -- chris _______________________________________________ Bug-lilypond mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-lilypond
