Yes, please! I was looking for something like this last weekend; once I'd caught up on doc stuff, I was going to submit a feature request.
Accidentals weren't a problem in my case; I was trying to get bar numbers.
And this section was highly irregularly metered; setting an invisible
time signature for each bar would be quite awkward.
