I don't have the problem in v 2.4.6.
Did you remember to #(ly:set-point-and-click 'line-column) ?

If I set the paper size and orientation, point-and--click doesn't work.
Without those settings, everything works ok. I tried this with both
lilypond.app 2.6.0 and 2.7.0, and using preview.app to see pdf files. mac os
