Right, but...I'm picking on these issues because I understood that it
was one of your stated goals to make Lilypond produce excellent notation

counts as a tweak. It may be necessary for special cases, but should
not be necessary in general, if I understand Lilypond's design goals
correctly.
I agree. Of course, such bug reports will have less priority than some
other reports (crashes or completely wrong notation), but they
definitely belong in the tracker with the "engraving-nitpick" label.
Please keep sending such reports.
