In this writing, it alternates between 6/8 and 3/4. But I have also seen the 3/4 written as 6/8, with beaming indicating the 6 subdivided as 2+2+2. This way of interpreting 6/8 is not possible in CPP, so if sticking to that, the song must be written as an alteration between 6/8 and 3/4. I do not know how the original is written.

The point is though, that a modern composer may write it as 6/8 where some 6s are divided as 3+3 and some as 2+2+2, only giving hints to it from the beaming.
