So is the bug that \convert-ly produces broken code, or is the bug that
the \oldaddlyrics command is broken?
(if it's the second case, then why mention convert-ly at all? Please
remember that I know nothing about vocal music, so I am very easily
confused by anything to do with lyrics. :)

Though, the title is wrong, imo. The command is not "invalid". Notice that
lilypond does not respond with "command \oldaddlyrics not found". It /finds/
the command, but the command fails because the function OldLyricCombineMusic is
missing.
