we should also leave a pdf of the CG in the home directory (or even better, on the desktop).
Sure, it will get out of date as the months go by, but I think it's worth having the initial instructions available immediately. We'll also warn people that the particular pdf of the CG will be out of date. Or maybe just add a link to the official CG? people need to have a link to the internet to get the source, anyway.
