Patch has been reverted. It exposes programming errors in the existing
code base, namely markup commands called with arguments not matching their
declaration.
As a consequence, documentation builds no longer succeed.
Could anybody add an issue for fixing those calls, so that one can put it
in the "Blocked on" field of this issue?
