Changes on beam-broken-difficult certainly not intended, but quite certain
to be our old friend 1723 (IIRC). A few people are intermittedly spending
time on that, so hopefully we'll figure it out eventually. For now, don't
take changes in beams over rest too seriously when reviewing patches
clearly dealing with a different topic.
