Significant changes here from original section are
1. Removed excessive CINDEX entries (we don't need to distinguish
between 'drawing' and 'setting' and 'printing', this isn't a thesaurus).
2. Moved the \stopStaff and \startStaff example to the first @lilypond
example instead of near the end as this helps with the next example but
also is the most commonly used 'edit' of the staff symbol (I think anyway).
I still don't fully understand the new function
\override Staff.StaffSymbol #'line-positions = #'(8 6.5 -6 -8 -0.5)
so am happy for some guidance. I have asked Piers and he has come back with
explanations but I am not certain on the significance of use of additional
parenthesis inside the #'( ... ) construct so my example doesn't show this,
but I'd like to explain that if it is useful.
