I've just received email from a Debian user asking for packages supporting PostgreSQL, or not depend on the fat MySQL packages, and this made me remember our "module support" discussion. In Wed, 27 Oct 2010 14:37:57 +0300, <[email protected]>, you said making 3.x more modular, to make it support support features only if a .so file for that feature is available as a plugin, would be a goal, albeit not a priority. Has there been any progress on this front? It's been the #1 feature I've been after for a long time now, when wearing my Debian hat. Once this is done, I'd push for Mailutils to be in the standard Debian install, replacing bsd-mailx.
