Hi, Sergey. Sorry to have bothered you. This is a Maildroid bug, not anything wrong with mailutils. The problem is that the default Maildroid connection management rule is "Stay connected for instant synchronization" and this does not make sense if you have a standards-compliant POP3 server, because while the client is connected you cannot receive new mail.
