If we're talking about folders, I think that +/ would only generate a leading double-slash if .mh_profile:Path were /, right? The problem with bottom posting and eliding content is that we no longer see what the original problem was. Unfortunately, bottom posting and not eliding content means that you have to scroll to get to get to new content below the fold, and the context is hard to read with varying quoting styles.
