SystemRescueCD is a disaster. Obsolote, buggy QTParted, progsreiserfs, etc. They are unmaintained for over a year. Somebody from Ark Linux took over QTParted maintainership recently but all this means some trivial changes in a new release, no serious bug fixes. Now it's understandable why your partition was thrashed. > It would be good if he could also upload this latest version to > ftp://ftp.namesys.com/pub/libreiserfs/ > > The version there is 18 months old. (Or have the old version removed) AFAIK the latest release is 0.3.0.6 which has very serious fixes however I don't know from where it could be downloaded. > I'm even more puzzled to see that Yury has a namesys email address. That address doesn't work anymore but yes, Yury wrote that non-namesys code when he worked for namesys (maybe only in his spare time) on which reiser4 userspace code is also based on now :-) > The responsibility of "whose code" is starting to baffle me. Great, but please don't give up too easily :-) Szaka _______________________________________________ Bug-parted mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-parted
